Lunchbox Notes <\/strong><\/p>\n

Slip a little note into your child\u2019s lunchbox<\/a> to let them know you care. The note doesn\u2019t have to say \u201cI love you\u201d to get the message across (some kids get embarrassed if their friends see overly mushy notes from mom and dad). A silly drawing, some words of encouragement before a test, a reminder of a fun activity you\u2019re doing after school\u2014all let your child know you\u2019re thinking about him.<\/p>\n

Praising Effort <\/strong><\/p>\n

Children\u2019s artwork and school tests are often displayed on refrigerators by proud parents. Adding a personalized sticker<\/a> or writing some words of praise on displayed work reminds children you appreciate and value their efforts and accomplishments.<\/p>\n

Messages Around the Home<\/strong><\/p>\n

Got some fridge magnets? Spell out the child\u2019s name and a loving message after bedtime for her to find in the morning.
