At the end of your celebrations, surprise your child with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseeme.com\/en-us\/valentines-day-personalized-gifts.html\">personalized Valentine&#8217;s Day book or gift<\/a> to make them feel extra special and loved today and every day.<\/p>\n<h2>Love Monsters<\/h2>\n<p>Craft a little love monster to be your valentine! This kids\u2019 activity is perfect to do at home or at a children\u2019s Valentine\u2019s Day party. For this craft you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yarn<\/li>\n<li>Chenille stems<\/li>\n<li>Googly eyes<\/li>\n<li>Glue gun with hot glue<\/li>\n<li>Mini paper cups<\/li>\n<li>Piece of cardboard (approx. 2\u201d x 4\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Craft paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wrap the yarn around the cardboard piece long-ways about 150-200 times. On one side of the cardboard tie a knot around the center of the yarn. Flip the cardboard over and cut through the center of the yarn. This will be the main body of your love monster. Take an upside down mini paper cup and hot glue the pom pom to the top (Safety Tip: we recommend a parent use the hot glue gun). Make another, smaller pom pom by wrapping the yarn short-ways around the cardboard about 20-30 times. Hot glue this pom pom on top of the other one. Now your love monster has a \u201ctoupee\u201d of hair! To decorate your monster, glue on googly eyes and chenille stems under the yarn, to poke out like antennas. Cut out paper hearts and glue those to the stems. You can create a whole family of monsters that range from quirky to adorable!<\/p>\n<h2>Valentine\u2019s Day Clothespin Wreath<\/h2>\n<p>Your child will love making a Valentine\u2019s Day wreath to hang on your front door! This craft activity is the perfect way to celebrate and welcome people home with love. To make this wreath you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A wire wreath base (available at craft stores or you can make your own circle using floral wire)<\/li>\n<li>Clothespins<\/li>\n<li>Paint<\/li>\n<li>Ribbon<\/li>\n<li>Paper<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attach the clothespins to the wreath base all the way around. You\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Red balloon<\/li>\n<li>White string<\/li>\n<li>Pink construction paper<\/li>\n<li>Craft glue<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Tape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blow up the red balloon and tie off the end. Cut out hearts from the pink construction paper and tape them to the balloon. Make sure the tied end of the balloon is facing upward when you tape the hearts. Tie four pieces of white string at the balloon\u2019s tied end. Drape the string down the balloon, evenly spaced apart. Leave a small gap and then tie the string ends together. Construct the balloon basket out of pink construction paper. Cut a long strip and then fold into a square. Glue the two end pieces together to form the square basket. Glue or tape the string to the paper square, so the basket is hanging from the balloon.
