We\u2019ve got five suggestions for unique, fun, and slightly spooky custom Halloween bags and buckets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frankenstein\u2019s Monster Cereal Bags<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These bags are fun to make with kids, and have an added advantage\u2014they don\u2019t hold huge amounts of candy. You\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 empty cereal box<\/li>\n<li>Green tissue paper<\/li>\n<li>Two corks<\/li>\n<li>Silver paint<\/li>\n<li>Black crepe paper<\/li>\n<li>Craft foam<\/li>\n<li>Glue gun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wrap the cereal box with the tissue paper and glue it down. Cut pieces of black crepe paper to make the monster\u2019s hair, and glue it all around the lid of the box. Cut eyes, mouth, and a heavy \u201cunibrow\u201d out of the craft foam and glue them in place.<\/p>\n<p>For the monster\u2019s neck bolts, paint the corks silver. When dry, glue them to the lower sides of the box.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stylish, Spooky Tote Bags<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These custom Halloween bags are popular with older children, who can show them off at school. They\u2019re also very easy to make. Search for fun Halloween designs online and print them onto iron-on transfer paper. Follow the paper\u2019s instructions to iron the design onto a plain canvas tote bag. Personalize the bag by printing the child\u2019s name onto transfer paper as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simply Spooky<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This quick craft makes a surprisingly \u201crealistic\u201d ghost. These custom Halloween bags do use a plastic garbage bag, though, so don\u2019t let young children use the finished bag unsupervised.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>White kitchen garbage bag<\/li>\n<li>White gift bag<\/li>\n<li>White ribbon<\/li>\n<li>Black tape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tuck the garbage bag into the white gift bag so most of the garbage bag hangs over the gift bag\u2019s lid. This will be the ghost\u2019s body. Staple the garbage bag in place, then staple ribbon to the gift bag lid to use as a handle.
