Illustrator: John Butler
John Butler has loved drawing ever since he could pick up a pencil. To date he has illustrated over 60 children’s books published in more than 20 countries, and has won numerous awards, including most recently the Teachers’ Choice AwardsSM for Children’s Books sponsored by Learning Magazine. In a varied career he has worked for such illustrious clients as Sesame Street and Time magazine, but illustrating children’s books is what he enjoys doing most. Now with three young grandchildren to help inspire his illustrations, he feels very lucky to have a made a career out of picking up a pencil.
